History

 

Ron McClintock founded the company in 1970 after purchasing the International dealership from Brissendens in Main Street West Wyalong. Ron purchased land at the present site on Ungarie Road and built the current premises in 1976 which has been expanded over the years to accommodate the growing business.

 

In 2000 R McClintock & Co purchased the Case IH dealership in Grenfell from TF Armstrong & Sons situated in Main Street. The building was then extended and extensively refurbished to meet all the current industries requirements.

 

R McClintock & Co continued its growth with the purchase of Lucerne Foods Farm Machinery Centre in Canowindra at Mill Street in February 2012. Once again this building has been extensively refurbished and expanded to meet the demand and growth in this region.

 

R.McClintock&Co has recently purchased 12 acres of industrial land at the new Daroobalgie development site at 26 Angus Clarke Drive Forbes. McClintock&Co proceed to build a modern , state of the art ,farm machinery super centre which was officially open by local Mayor Ron Penny in October 2013. This business is now trading as the McClintock Central West Machinery Centre.

 

LJ Johnson closed their Case dealership in Forbes in 1987 and R McClintock & Co opened a business in October 1987 in an old garage in Rankin Street and due to business growth purchased the building in Junction Street in 1992 and extended the building three times to accommodate more growth.
